<- my eyes are kinda open uncle Roni!
so roni, I don't know how much you wanna know about my surgery but I'll describe as much of it as I can remember. I came into the hospital on a Saturday(12-4-10) for a headache, they gave me some really strong pain medicine for it but it didn't take it away. any time your having a baby and sick your baby doctor takes care of you. so he ordered me a shot of some more pain medicine to be placed in my hip. he told me that I would be talking out of my mind, and that i would be real sleepy. well i never once got sleepy, and i never talked outta my head.. haha he also ordered a cat scan of my brain to make sure I wasn't bleeding or any swelling was happening, once me and Kenny was on the way back up to the labor and delivery room I was like "watch them send me home, and I go into labor and end back up at the hospital" well while we was waiting on the results to come back I went into labor but couldn't feel it because of the pain medicine in my hip. the only way I knew it was because they had montiors on my stomach one for Chloe's heart beat, and one to measure my contractions. well my contractions were five mins apart so instead of going home, I got admitted to the hospital and my baby doctor induced my labor. I spent a total of 23 hours in labor and never progressed like he wanted me to and then I ended up getting a real high fever of 102.3 so he came in and said we've got to do something you can't go any longer like this. well that only left the option of having surgery and I really didn't want that but had no choice I was so tired I couldn't even hold my head up, if I wanted anything Kenny or mom had to help me. which they took all my food rights away about 30 mins before I went into surgery. it took them about 25 mins to prep me for surgery.. made me drink some stuff, and made me wear a lil blue cap. then the time finally came when they wheeled me into the OR (operating room) I was scared outta my mind, they had Kenny sit in the recovery room while they finished getting me ready. once in the OR they put me on the table which hurt real bad because my epidural had wore off and I could feel every pain coming and going.. they rolled me from side to side then set me up.. by this time I was crying and my doctor asked me what was wrong and I was like I'm hurting and he goes were at? and I was like all over.. he told me to hang on and all the pain would be gone. while I was sitting their the anesthesiologist numbed my back and then placed a needle into my back which stayed in place until surgery was over. after the needle was placed he put some medicine in it that numbed me from my stomach down. I was so numb I couldn't even lift my legs.. after this they helped me lay down and my doctor went and got Kenny, he was able to sit beside my head the whole time. it took my doctor about 25 minutes to cut Chloe out and to give me seven layers of stitches and a layer of staples.. (which I got out today) I feel asleep in surgery and the anesthesiologist woke me up right before she was born so I could kinda watch from the light above me. they had a sheet over me so I wouldn't get dirty from everything the doctor was doing. I started crying once they brought Chloe over to me to see for the first time and the anesthesiologist whipped my tears away. after surgery I went to recovery for about 45 mins. I was shaking real bad and was pretty out of it from all the pain med. my doctor came in and talked to me for a little bit then left. I had so much pain medicine that they were scared to give me any more so right before they moved me to a room they gave me some more in my iv. they didn't want to give it to me right away because I had so much pain medicine that they were scared it would mess with my breathing. they finally moved me to a room and the next 18 hours I was on bed rest couldn't get up for anything.... anyway I better get I'll finish what happened next soon. consider this a story part one of however many.. haha. hope you are doing well!
