Well just made it home.. went to dad's tonight to give him his Christmas present! I'm wondering what he got me... he said he hadn't got it yet, but it should be in the mail Friday.. I've been thinking about it ever since I left his house... after their I went to Grandma's for a while.. we always go their and the family gets together and eats.. it didn't really seem the same as it did when grandpa was around.. guess I was missing grandpa, Christmas was his favorite holiday..
Well dad told me tonight that my cousin in FL is doing better, dad said the doctors opened his throat up so he could eat(he's been on a feeding tube), and once he gains his strength back they we're going to try something else. Thank God.
well gonna go help mom finish up some last min christmas gifts for the family. then I'm heading to bed.. I've been sick since last night and it hasn't been all that fun..

well I'm glad it's the weekend! goodness today was busy, we was supper busy. sorry roni, for not being on msn today. the phone ringing, people in the office, trying to clean.. haha!

well I'm pretty much finished with Christmas shopping!! just have to print off some pictures I took for my grandma. I took pictures of all her great grand-kids and I'm going to put them in a picture frame. got mom's Christmas presents today... I ate some butter, Carmel, and my favorite cheese popcorn today.. mom brought home a tin can of popcorn. I got my dog and cat a bed for them to sleep in for Christmas, I have a feeling though my cats going to sleep in it more then my dog... haha! Roni, to answer your question, yes, they still play..

tomorrow I have a Christmas breakfast to go to at 10. looking forward to it, our youth group is getting together... so that will be fun... well gonna head to bed... gotta get up early..

work went well today, was sorta busy which is good since Christmas is next week. our Christmas dinner is this Sunday.. hmm what should I make, no bake cookies, peanut butter balls, or no bake Reece's... I"ll think of something, Roni I'll take pictures for ya.

roni, I give up! I've tried to upload videos and it just won't do it... have to try it again tomorrow.. I school is over and I am glad!! even though it feels weird being out.

my dad called me today and told me that my cousin who lives in FL came home from the hospital, they gave up on him, and are calling hospice to come in and help take care of him. he was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago maybe. He'd had been doing really well with it, but I guess now the treatments are catching up with him. I'm so thankful I got to spend time with him when I went down before school started. If you don't care keep him in your prayers, he isn't a Christan.

well I'm going to head to bed... gotta get up early tomorrow and go to work if the weather isn't bad.. were suppose to be getting ice, sleet, freezing rain, and snow... wonder if we'll get it.

well short update.. gotta get to bed.. stayed up to late playing a CSI game.. haha! almost beat it...
Roni, I went to another band concert today.. took pics and videos.. I'll upload them tomorrow haven't got them on my computer yet..

The band concert was good.. have another one to go to this weekend... right now I'm in the Christmas spirit.. actually I have been for a while but this weekend I'm putting up Christmas lights, and the tree!

My head is killing me.. I think it's from staying up late, and getting up early... not getting enough sleep and straining my eyes to much. I really should start wearing my contacts again. haha! Passed my physics final tonight with a B... yay!

I think I'm going to take something for my head.. and go to bed... its suppose to start snowing tonight but I don't see it happening for the fact every time they call for it... it never happens... and when they don't call for it, it snows... go figure!

to answer your questions about the parade.. the community puts it together, theirs usually about two bands that play, it starts and ends in the same night.. it usually last about an hour... nothing much really goes on... we just stand on the side of the road and watch it come by us. I have some videos roni I want to send you of the parade but bare with me it'll be later this weekend or next week before I get a chance.

I passed my tests tonight yay!

well hate to cut it short but I need to get back to studying.. have another test tomorrow.. I'm starting to see the light @ the end of the tunnel.. hahaha!

Would have been married for a year today

well tonight's blog is going to be short because it's already so late.. not a whole lot going on.. just been studying for finals..

kinda been thinking how much my life would have changed if I would have gotten married a year ago today.. would I be a mom to a sweet little Girl, or to a handsome little boy.. how would me and Mitch celebrate.. but that's really as far as I would let myself think.. I didn't want to get upset and depressed.

well gonna pray and head to bed.. I'm tired... gotta get up early and start studying and go to work.. yay sounds like such fun.. NOT!

goodness... I really don't have time to update but i will.. Church this morning was Good... He was preaching about Knowing that God is with us where ever we go and if we could keep that in mind we would over come every trail the devil puts before us.. it was really good. I didn't make it to church Saturday night on the account that I had way to much homework.. I know that is no excuse but I knew if I went to church I wouldn't have gotten it all done before tomorrow.. all I have left is to finish up is my psychology test(which I'm fixing to do in a few), and watch Charley(which I'm doing now).

we had a church get together today.. it was fun.. I sat off to the side and did homework while everyone played games.. It was really hard not to put the books down and go play with them... but I made it. I did though record some videos of some people singing...

this is going to be another short update.. Its late and I want to get as much sleep as I can before the weekend.. cause I know I pro wont get much sleep..

I took my test tonight roni, and with Gods help, made a 98 on it... would have had a 100 put I second guessed myself and changed my answer from the right one to the wrong one... I can't believe I did that.. owell..

I've been working on physics all afternoon... hopefully I'll get it finished tomorrow.. well see how it goes. would be nice...

short update I know.. but I'm tired and ready for bed.. been studying pretty much all afternoon.. Roni, Keep me in your prayers, I have a ton of tests coming up and really not enough time to study for them all.

short story before I get off. I went to the hospital this afternoon and as I was signing out to leave the lady behind the desk asked me, "what grade are you in?" and I told her "Junior in College" she was like "you look like your a freshman in high school" well we talked for a few and I told her I had a ton of tests coming up and she goes "you'll do fine, you seem to make good grades" and I told her that I had a friend in Africa who calls me a genius.. and she was like "you are pretty intelligent" I asked her how she could tell and she goes "trust me, I've been to school and I can tell" I did tell her though at times I felt stupid, and she told me to never feel that way again...

another story and I'm off... I went to the college library today to check out the tests to study for one of my finals next week. and the lady who works there asked me if I was related to any of the Henderson's in Nancy.. which is where my dad is from.. well I told her yes, well she ended up being best friends with my dad's sister (which would be my aunt) in school, and she told me that my grandma (my dad's mom) was a real nice lady, and that I looked a lot like her, which was neat to hear cause I've never met my grandma on my dad's side, because when my dad was young she passed away from cancer. I've never really took the time to ask about her, but now I'm going to try to find out as much as I can. I am named after my grandma though. (same first name)

well I'm off to study a Lil bit more, then its time for bed.. I have a feeling I'm going to be pulling an all night-er Friday...

well today went by really quick! we are so busy at work its not even funny! if my brother doesn't stop scheduling jobs then we'll be busy for the next three weeks. school will be over soon and i cant wait!

so this weekend its the Christmas parades! I can't wait!! I'm thinking about putting up the tree this weekend... we'll just have to see how busy I am.. which is probably going to be very!

I've been working on homework ever since I got home from school.. I'm glad its over next week!! I'm mentality tired and wore out from studying so much.

well I went to the dentist today.. didn't go to bad.. got three shots and was pretty numb for a while.. I ate a bowl of chili and kicked back and started watching the family holiday.. then fell asleep... which didn't last long cause I had to finish up my homework.. so no I just have to type it and turn it in.

Roni, I'm thinking of a way to get your first piano lesson together and what I should include in it. but I am working on it.. it has been snowing off and on all day long! I love the snow.. the news is saying we should get about an inch. below is a video of it snowing on my front porch.

So this weekend at church was good. Saturday night we had a visiting preacher, and he tittled his message "the door to God's blessings" and this morning my pastor preached about the unity between God and Man. it was Good.
so this afternoon, I've been watching Home Alone, and studying for tests.. playing the piano.. Roni I haven't forgot you , I'm getting your things together, to send to you. and last but not least this what else I did tonight WRAPPED PRESENTS!!! Can't wait to get out of school so I can put up the tree and the lights.... I'm looking forward to Christmas!! Black Friday!

So today was what they call black Friday... I'm not sure why they call it that but its the kick off for Christmas shopping, with big sales going on every where... so me and mom ended up going shopping today.. it was fun.. I got two presents for one of my nephews, and one of my nieces.. only two more nieces and nephews to by for.. and then all of em are taken care of. then all I'll have is charity, amber, grandma, dad, mom and my two brothers..

Its been about two days since I've heard from my special someone, I guess he's just spending time with his family for the holidays. I hope I hear from him soon.. I hope he had a wonderful thanksgiving..

I think I ate myself sick today... country ham, regular ham, turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, Banana's and strawberries in strawberry daiquiri syrup... that's just what I ate at my house.. that's not counting what I ate when I went to my pastors house.. I ended up eating peanut butter balls... I bet I ate like three or four of them.

Had a really good thanksgiving. I haven't heard from someone today, but Im sure I will tomorrow if not later tonight.

I believe me and mom is going to kick back and watch a christmas movie.. I'm sure I won't make it thru the whole thing I'm tired..

Me, Frank, and Jerome took white out and stuck it in a bottle of lotion... so tomorrow who ever tries to put lotion on will get white out.... the ONLY part I played in this is was to help find the white out.. and that's it.. Jerome did most of it... it was pretty funny tho when He tried it out for himself.. haha his hands were stained white..

well lets see its thanksgiving! off work for the rest of the week... yay!! I'm hungry... wonder if I can still some food that's already made... *thanks real hard*

What a wonderful day!

well I woke up this morning to a text message from my special someone.. at first I didn't know who it was from.. but then I shortly figured it out. I'm so thankful to hear from him, lets me know he hasn't forgotten about me. I texted back but didn't hear anything from him until tonight in my night class. we talked for about 20-30 Min's.. so we'll see where it goes..

still counting down the days until I'm outta school for good.. well I'm gonna go.. gonna edit some pictures before Thurs, I want to get Cd's made for my family before they get here, still got a ton to do before then.

well today went by pretty good. played a game in my medical terminology class... work went by pretty quick..

school will be over in a few weeks for Christmas break and I can't wait! I'm going to relax and get ready for Christmas.. put up the tree, put up lights.. and go ice skating.. oh and watch Christmas movies... Its gonna be fun...

have a ton of tests coming up soon... and its going to be crazy...

This is where we lay patients to take xrays of them laying down. the round thing that has green numbers on it is movable to just about any part of the room. it also measures how far away it is from the person.
the machine on the right is where we flash the xray, which puts all the persons info on it.. then the big machine is what we use to run the xray Thur to develop the xray. The red thing you see is what holds the pic one we take the xray, what the machine does is once you run it Thur it clears it off on to the computer. then from their we can send the xray to the radiologist, if our radiologist is gone for the night we send it to a program called nighthawk,which is where radiologist from Australia can read them and tell us whats wrong. the one in the pic has just been ran Thur and can be used again. the big ones are usually used to chest xrays. the smaller ones are used for hands and fingers.
this is just some of the techs sitting around. this is what we do when we have nothing going on.
again here is another picture of the techs just sitting around. the printer in the back ground is where all the orders come in from various parts of the hospital, from surgery all the way down to ER. we get any where from 20-30 orders an hour. sometimes more depending on how busy the Emergency room(ER) is.

well today went by pretty quick... work today was CRAZY! I'm so glad today is over.. The phone rung off the hook, people coming in the office left and right.. ugh I thought I was going crazy ha!. I know it sounds crazy but I hope we have another day like this one soon... it helps pass the time.. I could however, take less phone calls and more people in the office tho.

Passed my quiz tonight in my night class... thank goodness this semester is almost over.. I'm tired and need a break....
